GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include design, development, and unit testing of new functionality, code enhancements, and bug fixes. The programmer analyst will be responsible for analysis of business requirements and for accurate estimates of level of effort for analysis, design, and coding. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are required to meet the responsibility for inter-team communication of technical and interface specifications. Analytical support of user reported problems to determine appropriate resolution options, on-call support, and problem resolution of production systems will be required. Duties include:
• Write code
• Unit test
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables
• Analyze business requirements and estimate level of effort
• Develop technical requirements and interface specifications
QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 Year Degree or equivalent experience
• 5 plus years work experience
• Interpersonal skills
• Excellent Communication skills – both verbal and written
• Analytical skills
• Programming skills
• Experience with CDR (call detail record) processing
• Works independently with minimal guidance
• Demonstrable analytical and programmer skills
• Able to articulate accomplishment/progress
• Owns individual program delivery
